LinkedIn Sales Navigator launched a new integration with HubSpot today! Here's why you probably shouldn't use it: Reason 1️⃣ : It's locked behind the highest tier of LinkedIn Sales Nav In order to use the integration, you need to be on the Sales Navigator Advanced Plus plan. If you don't already have that plan, it's going to be a significant hit to your budget. The price is currently $16,000/year for a minimum of 10 seats, and LinkedIn has been teasing a price increase of 5-10% coming soon. Yes, the features are cool. But that's a lot of cash to fork over, especially if you have a smaller team and can't take advantage of all of the seats. Reason 2️⃣ : There's already a better alternative I've been using the majority of the features you get from the Sales Nav integration for over a year. How is that possible, when the integration just came out? Because Hublead exists. Hublead is a Chrome plugin that lets you: - Automatically sync LI message logs to HubSpot - Add/enrich HubSpot contacts from their LI profile - View HubSpot properties directly on a contact's LI profile - See in HubSpot who on your team is connected to a contact - Create reports on your sales reps LI activity That covers like 90% of what the new Sales Nav integration does, plus some additional things that the integration doesn't include. Best of all, you don't even need a Sales Nav account. I can do all of this as a regular LinkedIn user. Hublead has a free plan, but even its paid version is incredibly affordable compared to Sales Nav Advanced Plus. We pay $300/mo for 6 users, ~an 80% savings over Sales Nav. I really want to root for this integration, but LinkedIn, you're making it awful hard by making it so prohibitively expensive without adding significant functionality that can't be found elsewhere. #salestools #hubspottipsandtricks #prospecting
