'Zombie products' could be affecting your ad performance and revenue too. This Case Study with SWG was a trial to see if we could increase the performance of 'unseen' products in Google's Performance Max. Within a week, the initial target was met and overall a 15% increase in profitable revenue came from selling products that just weren't being seen. PMax Breakdown: Goal: How to use it cover Search terms similar to DSA for the Generic/Non Branded terms. Basics: Attach a phrase negative list for the Non brand/generic search terms already covered in the account. There is an upper threshold so pick the most high volume ones first. Note: Some regions its not availble. While defining triggers/themes/themes only give terms which are not present in the account. Dont be afraid to go very generic. Bidding: Think first time user acquisition, thus bidding much more strongly initially. Main KPI is first time interactions/acquisitions. Products/Listing groups: Pick products which have the highest first time/least count of interactions per order & medium LTV. Don't go for the cheapest ones your AOV would be so low that the campaign would eventually fail. Assets: Dont use offers! Reason you would be already paying a lot more than usual for the traffic, when the discount is factored in then it would drop your margins even further. Audience: Attach your existing #emailaddress and try the NC feature enabled. KPI to track: New customers AOV Margin With more & more reporting options being made availble for PMax it would be matter of time where you can expand on such ideas further. #ppc #performancemarketing #performacemax #pmax #digitaladvertising #googleadwords

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐦𝐚𝐱: Google's Pmax campaigns have rolled out a new "Product Types" view, which relies on the "product_type" attribute for more insightful performance analysis. Along with this, a novel "Products %" column has been added, enabling a more granular look at conversion metrics by product type. (Thomas Eccel) https://lnkd.in/e7ugFsqr

I may have gone a little overboard with yesterday's #junglranswers 😅 But it was a great question! Once you know your goals and ACoS targets, how do you use them to create an ad strategy? This is one of my favorite topics, and also one that's not easy to answer in a quick 5min video. So I decided to post my answer to Youtube. Link in the comments. #advertisingstrategies #ecommerce #amazonadvertising #amazonfba

Part 2: A Closer Look at PMax's "Black Box" "Performance Max promises the world, but what does it really show you?" At first glance, PMax campaigns offer a simplified advertising solution. Yet, they operate as a "black box," providing minimal insight into their inner workings. Limited Campaign Controls: PMax's streamlined approach means missing out on optimizations available in other campaign types. Opaque Insights: The system offers little visibility into how campaigns perform across Google's various channels, making it hard to assess effectiveness. Despite Google's efforts to enhance PMax with more insights, the platform still lacks crucial feedback necessary for informed decision-making. #Marketing #DigitalMarketing #MarketingAnalytics
